Our West tour will cover both Nassau and Suffolk Counties. You’ll experience some of the best homemade ice cream places this side of Long Island has to offer!

LIICT West – Sunday, July 17, 2022
[9:55am] – Check-in and t-shirt distribution at Old Fashioned Ice Cream Shoppe – please arrive promptly.
• PARKING: There is a small parking lot at O.F.I.C.S. Once full, parking is available on side streets. Please use the crosswalk at the traffic light; Straight Path is a very busy road.
1) [10:15am–11:00am] Old Fashioned Ice Cream Shoppe – 1025 Straight Path, West Babylon (map)
2) [11:40am–12:30pm] Lics Ice Cream ★ – 74 Main Street, Northport (map)
• After we get ice cream, we will take a group photo at Cow Harbor Park next to the water in Northport
3) [1:30pm–2:15pm] Henry’s Confectionery ★ – 8 Glen Street, Glen Cove (map)
4) [3:00pm–3:45pm] The Ice Cream Chick ★ – 46L Gerard Street, Huntington (map); yes, this is where Herrell’s used to be!
5) [4:45pm–5:30pm] Sweet Treats on the Wharf ★ – 405 Main Street, Port Washington (map)
6) [6:30pm–7:30pm] Five Pennies Creamery – 11 N Park Ave, Rockville Centre (map)

You will need to wear our Official LIICT 2022 shirt to get the discounts and special offerings we’ve coordinated at each location. You will receive your t-shirt the first stop.
Everyone drives themselves, or preferably you can carpool with other attendees you know.
Money – Most ice cream shops will accept debit/credit cards. Some may accept Apple/Google Pay. Some may only accept cash, so be sure to bring some.
Fuel – We recommend arriving with a full tank of gas so you won’t have to stop to refuel during the tour. There is a Tesla Supercharger near both the LIICT West and LIICT East routes.
Camera – We will have a camera crew and will share photos and videos after the event. If you do bring a camera, be sure to bring spare batteries and/or spare memory cards.
Phone charger – You will likely be away from a power outlet for 8–12 hours. Bring a portable USB battery charger and/or a car charger.
Sunscreen – We will be will be out in the sun for several of the stops, so you may want to apply sunscreen before leaving.
Parking – Many locations have street parking and/or a public parking lot within 1-2 blocks. Be mindful when crossing roads. Many of these roads are very busy.
