As per our 2021 schedule announcement, we are — once again — hosting two ice cream tours this year. Information about our EAST Tour will be available soon.

Our West tour will span the height of Long Island — from Lido Beach up to Port Washington. The majority of the tour is within Nassau County. You’ll experience some of the best homemade ice cream places this region has to offer. We’ve been visiting Herrell’s in Huntington since the very first LIICT and this tour will be the last day Herrell’s is ever open!

Our West schedule is as follows. You’ll find a map and directions below.

West Tour – Saturday, June 19th

We start the tour at 10:30am at Hildebrandt’s, 84 Hillside Avenue, Williston Park (map). Please be there promptly for check-in.

[1:35pm–2:20pm] Henry’s Confectionery – 8 Glen St, Glen Cove (map) – $2 cone or cup promo!
[3:00pm–3:40pm] Sweet Treats on the Wharf (Douglas & James) – 405 Main St Ste 1, Port Washington (map) – $1 off anything! (plus a GROUP PHOTO by the water 📸)
[4:40pm–5:30pm] Herrell’s Ice Cream – 46L Gerald St, Huntington (map) – 20% off all items!

PARKING: Please park at the Lido Beach West Town Park, 210 Lido Blvd., Lido Beach (map); one block west of Marvel. See more below.

You will need to wear our Official LIICT 2021 Tour shirt to get the discounts and special offerings we’ve arranged. You need to register by Wednesday, June 16 at 11:59pm EDT in order to get your correctly-sized shirt made just for you. (After that time, you will still need to wear a mint green to be on the tour, but we won’t be able to provide our collector’s item custom-made t-shirt for you).

Everyone drives themselves, or preferably you can carpool with other attendees you know.
 
Masks – We will be following all local and state health guidelines as well as the wishes of each store owner while we tour. Face masks are required where stated, and please be courteous and respectful of the safety and health of all others.
Camera – We will have a camera crew and will share photos and videos after the event. If you do bring a camera, be sure to bring spare batteries and/or spare memory cards.
Phone charger – You will likely be away from a power outlet for 8–12 hours. Bring a portable USB battery charger and/or a car charger.
Sunscreen – Put some sunscreen on before leaving. We will be out in the sun for several of the stops. We don’t want anyone getting burned out from a long adventure; let alone getting your skin burnt.
Money – Most ice cream shops will accept debit/credit cards. Some may accept Apple/Google Pay. Some may only accept cash. So bring some cash.
Fuel – We recommend arriving with a full tank of gas so you won’t have to stop to refuel during the tour. There is a Tesla Supercharger near both the LIICT West and LIICT East routes.

Parking – Many locations have street parking and/or a public parking lot within 1-2 blocks. At Lido Beach, we cannot park in Marvel or Frozen Cow’s parking lots, so we will be parking one block away at the Lido Beach West Town Park. Please park in the orange areas seen below and use the crosswalks to access Marvel and Frozen Cow.
